RockIT Repairs is a leading independent service center for Pico Virtual Reality hardware, supporting both individual consumers and large-scale enterprise deployments. From the consumer-focused Pico 4 and Pico 4 Ultra to the business-oriented Pico 4 Enterprise and Neo 3 Pro, we provide component-level diagnostics and repairs that extend the lifespan of your standalone VR fleet. Whether you run a VR arcade, a corporate training program, or just game at home, we offer faster turnaround times and more cost-effective solutions than standard out-of-warranty manufacturer RMAs.
Like many modern VR controllers, the Pico 4 and Neo 3 controllers utilize analog joysticks that are highly susceptible to dirt, wear, and eventual 'stick drift' or dead zones. Instead of forcing you to source expensive replacement controllers, our microsoldering technicians expertly disassemble the Pico controllers, desolder the failing potentiometers, and install upgraded ALPS analog micro-switches. We also repair cracked tracking rings and unresponsive triggers caused by impact damage.
The Pico 4 utilizes advanced pancake optics to achieve its thin, lightweight profile. Unfortunately, these lenses sit very close to the user's face and are easily scratched by eyeglasses or improper cleaning. A scratched lens in VR vastly reduces visual clarity and immersion. We use commercial multi-stage polishing compounds to carefully lift surface scratches from Pico lenses. If the LCD panels underneath have suffered from direct sun-damage burn-in, we perform full optical engine and screen replacements.
As fully standalone Android-based VR headsets, Pico devices rely completely on internal lithium-ion batteries. After a few years of daily charge cycles—especially in enterprise or kiosk environments—these batteries degrade, causing random shutdowns or refusing to hold a charge at all. We safely open the rear-mounted battery strap enclosures, install fresh, factory-tested replacement battery cells, and repair any loose USB-C charging ports or failing internal cooling fans on the motherboard.
