Varjo Enterprise & Simulator Hardware Repair

RockIT Repairs is one of the only independent facilities equipped to service Varjo’s ultra-high-end virtual and mixed-reality hardware. Used primarily in military simulations, flight training, and enterprise design, headsets like the Varjo XR-4, XR-3, and Aero are massive structural investments. Varjo Aero Cooling Fan & Thermal Failures

The Varjo Aero packs immense pixel density and processing power into its chassis, relying heavily on active cooling via an integrated micro-blower fan to keep the internal processors from throttling. Over time, dust infiltration or bearing degradation can cause the fan to whine loudly, rattle, or stop completely, resulting in thermal shutdown. Our technicians extract the mainboard and install upgraded, high-RPM silent blower fans to restore optimal thermal performance without headset replacement.

Bionic Display & Eye Tracking Calibration

Varjo’s hallmark 'Bionic Display' system relies on a complex pairing of ultra-high-resolution micro-OLED central focal units surrounded by lower-resolution peripheral displays. Dropping the headset can misalign these arrays or knock the internal 200Hz eye-tracking cameras out of focus. We perform meticulous optical engine realignments and hardware-level calibration checks to restore the flawless edge-to-edge clarity that Varjo simulators rely on.

Mixed Reality Passthrough Camera & LiDAR Fixes

Enterprise models like the XR-3 and XR-4 rely heavily on front-facing RGB video passthrough cameras and LiDAR depth sensors to map real-world environments flawlessly. When these external sensors crack from impact or fail due to ribbon cable fatigue, augmented reality applications fail to launch. We provide localized sensor replacement and ribbon splicing services to revive precision spatial mapping features.
