First, our technicians perform a highly controlled teardown of your Pimax 8K X. The interior of this headset is packed with fragile FPC (Flexible Printed Circuit) connectors, delicate flex cables, and ribbon connectors that bridge the dual optical assemblies to the main logic board. We carefully isolate and extract the motherboard to examine the power and data interfaces under a high-magnification stereoscopic microscope.
Typically, we find that the mechanical stress has severed the SMD (Surface Mount Device) anchor pads or fractured the microscopic data traces connecting the port to the board.
